what is the Metering Ball Valve

Metering Ball Valve is a ball valve with adjustable flow function. It can achieve precise control of fluid flow in the pipeline by rotating the ball with specific flow characteristics. It is suitable for systems that require fine adjustment and stable flow output, such as metering, chemical proportioning or fluid management in experimental devices.

Features

Pressure resistance
The MeteringBallValve body is made of UPVC material, with a rated working pressure of 200psi (PN16), and can be directly used in medium-pressure pipe networks without additional support or protection.

High control accuracy
The valve has a V-shaped aperture structure, with DN15-DN25 (½″-1″) specifications. When controlling the flow, the angle and flow change curve are closer to linear, reducing the unstable factors at low flow rates. Compared with traditional ball valves, the flow error can be reduced by more than 30% at 10% opening.

Good sealing
The valve adopts a double O-ring stem seal structure, with FPM or EPDM seals, which can be customized according to the properties of the medium to achieve zero leakage control.

Standard interface and customization support
This product supports DIN, JIS, ANSI, BS, and CNS standard threaded connections. The DN15–DN25 specifications cover common pipe diameters and can be quickly compatible with existing piping systems. It also supports OEM/ODM/OBM customized development.

how to choose a right size?

Flow requirement: The flow rate size to be controlled is the key factor in determining the size of the metering valve.

Pipe dimensions: The connection size of the metering valve shall match the pipe size.

Pressure rating: The metering valve needs to be able to withstand the working pressure in the system.
