Reasons why the solenoid valve cannot be closed or opened

The main function of a solenoid valve is to control switching. It is popular due to its simple structure, compact size, and ease of installation. However, some customers have reported that the solenoid valve cannot be closed or opened after installation.

Reasons why a solenoid valve cannot be closed:

① Installed backwards

Solenoid valves cannot be installed backwards. During installation, ensure the arrow on the valve body aligns with the flow direction of the fluid in the pipeline, and the coil is installed vertically upwards and horizontally.

② Jammed/Stuck

If the medium contains impurities or particles, it can jam the valve port, causing it to be unable to close or open. Disassemble the solenoid valve, clean it thoroughly, and then reinstall it. (Solenoid valves require a relatively clean medium. If the medium contains small impurities or dust, a filter provided by our company (filter mesh ≥ 80 mesh/cm²) must be installed before the valve.)

③ Incorrect pressure

Is the pressure standard?

Reasons why a solenoid valve cannot be opened:

① Incorrect pressure

Is the pressure standard?

② Incorrect Voltage (Incorrect Voltage, Insufficient Power)

Before installation, check that the pressure, temperature, and voltage match the solenoid valve's nameplate and actual parameters. The DC power cord should not be too long to avoid coil power loss and voltage drop affecting normal operation (DC 24V should not exceed 30m).

③ Jammed Objects

If there are impurities in the medium, they may jam the valve port, causing it to fail to close or open. Disassemble the solenoid valve, clean it thoroughly, and then reinstall it.
