Possible faults of electric butterfly valve and their solutions

At present, electric butterfly valves, as a component used to realize on-off and flow control of pipeline systems, have been widely used in many fields such as petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, hydropower, etc. In the known electric butterfly valve technology, the sealing form mostly adopts a sealing structure, and the sealing materials are rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc. Due to the limitations of structural characteristics, it is not suitable for industries such as high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance.

 

1. The sealing surface leaks, and the butterfly plate and sealing ring of the butterfly valve contain debris.

2. The butterfly plate and seal closing position of the electric butterfly valve are not aligned correctly.

3. The outlet is equipped with flange bolts that are not stressed or not tightened.

4. The pressure test direction is not as required.

 

Reduction Method

1. Clean impurities and clean the inner cavity of the valve.

2. Adjust the limit screw of the actuator such as worm gear or electric actuator to achieve the correct closing position of the valve.

3. Check the flat surface of the mounting flange and the tightening force of the bolts. They should be tightened evenly.

4. Spin in the direction of the arrow
